Happy Birthday Glossybox!

My beautiful, pink box arrived again, as it does every month and this time Glossybox celebrates it's 3rd birthday! I do love a lovely celebration or theme box as normally an extra treat will be nestled in there and it is normally particularly fab. This month was no exception. 

Kryolan Highlighter|Full Size|RRP £12.50 

This is at the top of my list, as this was by far my absolute favourite product from the box. Kryolan are a makeup brand used by make up artists and although I had never tried anything from Kryolan previously, I was pleasantly surprised. This leaves a beautiful sheen across my cheekbones, on my cupids bow and swept across my brow bone. Simply beautiful, delicate sheen ideal for daytime. 

Yves Rocher Nail Polish|RRP £3.60

This nail varnish is like nothing I own, a pretty pink -nude. absolutely beautiful and lasts well. It is a super tiny bottle which is sweet and good to travel with! I currently have this on my fingernails and toenails, I simply love it. 

L'amour Lalique Perfume Vial |RRP £67  (full size)

I am so desperately trying to not use this up! It is simply delicate, floral and sensual. There are top notes of rose, middle note of jasmine and base notes of cedar and sandalwood.  Currently, all my little miniature samples are being collected to take away with me so this is perfect. 

Figs & Rouge Hand Cream|RRP £6.95 (full size)

I always have a hand cream near me - either on my desk at home or at work, and one inside my handbag. Mango and mandarin scents fill this cream and it is enriched with shea butter. I wasn't left with a greasy residue and it absorbed immediately into my skin. 

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer (40ml)|RRP £38 (full size)

This is the product every subscriber was guaranteed within their box and the product we were given a sneak peek of. The elasticizer promises to soften, add bounce and leave hair more manageable. This is applied to hair before shampooing, something I have never previously tried. I think I may need a bit more practice with this.. I applied a blob through my hair and then rolled it up for 15 minutes before I showered. Although it left my hair softer and less tangly, it is a step that makes the whole hair washing process longer, so probably something I would treat myself to at weekends. 

Essence Long Lasting Lipstick|Full Size|£2.29

Did someone say Jenner lips? This is seriously a Kylie Jenner shade if ever I have seen it. I cannot believe how cheap this brand of makeup is! I have seen it advertised in a few magazines here and there, but had never tried anything from the range. The lipstick is not matte but the colour stays, leaving lips moisturised and never dried out. I simply love this lipstick and will be trying more from Essence in the coming months. 

My overall opinion of the Birthday Box is that it was nice but nothing made me go "Wow", which was a shame because I had high hopes for the third anniversary box. However, everything within this box will be used up and I have no intention of unsubscribing! I love the thrill of receiving this little box every month.
