After a tiresome day in the office, I was thrilled to arrive home and find my September Birchbox!
This month we celebrate 5 years of my total favourite subscription box and not only are there some top samples but also each subscriber has been automatically entered into a competition to win a trip to NYC. (please please please let it be me!)
The Birchbrush | £5.99
This little brush reminds me of my favourite tangle teezer but a dinkier version ideal for my everyday handbag.
The way the hairbrush teeth are splayed means my hair will be tangle free and won't snag, causing damage.
Paula's Choice Liquid Exfoliant | £23.50
This evening, after my cleansing routine, I used this on a cotton pad and lightly swept it across my skin. My skin felt soft and not at all aggravated but mostly clean. The price however I think is slightly extravagant for the job it does.
Laqa & Co Cheeky Lip Pencil in Cray-Cray | £17
Although we may be in autumn now, I still enjoy a colour splash in my makeup. This multi -tasker crayon can be used on both cheeks and lips. With a bold liquid liner, an orange lip can take you from summer to autumn perfectly.
Beauty Protector Beauty Wash | £8
I have nothing but absolute love for this brand. Having purchased the full size detangler and trying the shampoo and conditioner from this range, I was extremely excited to receive the body wash from this range. The same beautiful smell is contained within this body cleanser and I also love the packaging!
John Masters Organics Citrus Neroli Detangler | £16
Out of everything I received this month, I am most excited to try this product. Bleached hair means it get's very thirsty - quickly. When I wash it I enjoy using a leave in treatment or intense conditioner to help protect and nourish my locks.
This product can be used as a conditioner and rinsed out or as a leave-in treatment. Grapefruit and coconut make this product smell utterly divine.
Benefit the POREfessional: License to blot | £15.50
The latest product to prevent shine and oil is this little hero from Benefit. Interestingly I have read up and this can be used over makeup to de-shine or underneath makeup to help with the daily T-zone issue. I am interested to see how this shapes up next to its sister the original porefessional, which is a fab product also from Benefit.
