I should stress not everyone attending is vegan. There are fellow vegans and vegetarians but also people curious to explore veganism, which is after all what it's all about! I arrived nearly an hour after opening to find a hefty queue of people, which although slightly annoying, it proves that people are becoming more and more involved in a vegan lifestyle.
The food stalls were tasty as always and I opted for a wonderful "Philly steak sub" which was created by Unless Hardcore Vegan Catering (you can find them Here
Also, their New York cheesecake was literally one of the tastiest cheesecakes I have ever eaten! I urge you to try it!
Ananda Vegan marshmallows I have tried before and I am particularly into her "wagon wheel" type biscuits.
A vegan shirt was top of my list to buy and I picked up this awesome limited design from All Glamour No Guts. They create some awesome necklaces, hat, bags and shirts with awesome "say it like it is" designs.
Sauces and dips can be tough to find, so when I saw this garlic and herb dip from Lettices I was like "take my money!" You can also find vegan cheese, sauces and meats from them.
Vegan coleslaw is something I haven't been able to source easily and assumed I would have to try to create my own but rest assured Badger's dairy and egg free have cooked up an awesome coleslaw!
The only downside to the festival was the organisation. For me, it was a little overcrowded and this could be fixed with some slightly better organisation to prevent the congested areas. However, some
stalls were outside which worked great!
Overall I had an awesome day, met some great people and discovered some wonderful new brands.
See you all again next year!
