Happy Almost-Weekend Guys!
I hope you’re all having an awesome week and are ready for the Bank Holiday weekend - I know I am! The idea of having a rest and some down time sounds ideal after a hectic week in the office.
Speaking of down time, this weekend is meant to bring some sunshine our way in the UK. This means I get to spend time in my favourite, de-stressing place. My garden!
Why do I love being in my garden?
A garden can be the perfect remedy to the fast-paced, hectic, virtual world in which many of us find ourselves. My favourite way to eleviate the pressure of day to day life is by sitting in my garden, or nurturing it when and where I can.
If you love and nurture your garden, it will encourage wildlife to pay a visit! I love to see the bumble bees landing in the lavender in search of nectar, the birds landing in the trees and insects making their way through the grass.
My favourite garden feature?
It has to be the little finishing touches that make my garden beautiful. The secret deer curled up in the flowers or the heron sneaking out from behind the roses..
I love quirky little pieces like outdoor lanterns and sweet woodland sculptures.
Why does my garden deserve the title of “Britain’s Most Beautiful Garden”?
My garden helps to bring back balance to my day. It allows me to forget the hectic, exhausting moments I have experienced and really lets me enjoy some tranquility in my own little space. It encourages me to leave my phone in the house and get green fingered outdoors. There is no space like it.

This post is my entry to Just Landlords’ “Britain’s Most Beautiful Garden” competition.
