***COMPETITION NOW ENDED***
Back in 2017, I received my very first Personal Planner and immediately asked myself the question “Why has it taken me so long to get one of these?”
The entire process of customising my own planner, from the front cover to the inside layout, was something that was so enjoyable. Since then I have used an A5 Personal Planner each year and I don’t plan on stopping! Continue reading for my review of my planner, the process and how you can win a voucher to create your very own Personal Planner!

The Personalisation Process
Taken from Personal Planner website
So the first step is choosing the size of your planner. I find the A5 size works best for me as I can slide it into my bag, but the square planner and A4 size look great too. I think £23.90 for the A5 size is brilliant value for money.
My favourite part of the process is designing my front cover. For my past two planners, I have created my own cover by uploading a chosen image, but this time I opted for a pre-set Personal Planner design for the front and back cover. They have some beautiful choices! The starry, night sky worked really well with the gold text and I opted for this print for the back cover too.
After choosing the wording for the front cover and the colour of my elastic closure, I was ready to start the inside.
Personal Planner are all about the personalisation, so you can choose the starting month for your planner. It’s ideal for having a new planner any time of year - especially around September time when it’s back to school, college or uni for lots of people.
I chose the pattern for my top pages to be similar to the cover and opted for a more vertical layout. I like the blocks and find it easier to plan my week this way. You can even have a blank writing space or ruled. I even added an extra box to the days for working out, but you can add work or weather to that too.
It’s so handy being able to plan my month in advance and just flip to each month using the colour tab down the side of the planner.
The little added touches are what really make Personal Planner that much more special. One of the coolest touches is the stickers that come with the planner and allow you to personalise your pages. I ordered an extra sheet of stickers with different designs, using the giftfed voucher I was sent, so I’ve got lots of cute additional sheets to see me through the year.In the back, there is a clear plastic wallet which is really handy for storing important tickets, notes or documents. Also, I ordered some of the pastel highlighters which are perfect for creating even more personalisation to your pages.
And finally the part you’ve all been waiting for...
