Stepping into spring with Frankie Bridge for Oasis

I was awake fairly early this morning and I noticed things felt a little different. The sky was adorned with ribbons of pink and blue clouds. There was a little feeling of warmth as the birds in the trees began tweeting. It's a sure sign that Spring is right around the corner and I am ready for it. 

Sugary pastel tones and light, airy materials are aspects of spring fashion that I really enjoy. When the new season arrives, so do the new collection launches. Frankie Bridge has released a new Spring collection with Oasis and it features some gorgeous pieces. I was lucky enough to receive a few items from the Frankie collection and I also picked a few accessories to team with the look. I opted for the camo textured midi skirt  and the boxy cardigan in khaki, teamed with my vegan leather trainers. It's a great way of making a pretty, girly outfit a bit more dressed down and casual. 

The cardigan is a lovely soft, light knit and is quite sheer (queue bra visibility!) but it's still wearable and you could team it with a bralet or a vest underneath. After I'd eaten quite a big lunch, the skirt was really comfortable and wasn't restricting which is important, am I right? The little slits at the front of the skirt add a more interesting, slightly flirty vibe. 

Whilst the weather is a bit cooler, moving into the warmer months I will be teaming this look with a faux leather jacket and some chunky boots. It would also work well with some square toed, strappy heels for an evening outfit. Pair with a bold lip and I’m good to go. 

Accessories are essential to complete a look, so the first piece I opted for was this sage green multi compartment bag. It's super soft (no, it isn't leather - luckily for me!) The compartments mean I can easily stash all my daily essentials in there. 

I also picked up a "Happy Thoughts" canvas tote and two pairs of bumble bee socks, super appropriate for Spring. Something which is really unique is this purse, which you can actually have embellished with your chosen initials. I’ve never seen this offered before from a high street store, they would make a great gift idea. The cat eye sunglasses have a more expensive feel to them and just complete an outfit.
