I’m back! Kinda. It’s been a while.
I hope we’re all feeling ultra festive and ready to see what 2021 has in store. It’s fair to say I’m ready to close the chapter on 2020 and here to welcome 2021 with open arms.
I might be very nearly 30 years old but I still get that buzz when I have new stationary or planners. It’s reminiscent of the start of a new school year and hitting the reset button. Lockdown has flown by and this year has been a complete whirlwind. I’m ready for a fresh start and a total clear out. A new routine!
Clear your workspace
Whether you have a home office, a dedicated desk space or if you’re making do with the dining table whilst working from home, a tidy of the space is always a good idea. I’m spending 5 days a week now working from home, so it’s imperative I have a space that’s clutter free. I’ve thrown away a heap of pens which were running out and got rid of ripped up notepads. 2021 is going to be as simplistic and fuss free as I can make it.
Create a new ritual
Before lockdown, I had a pretty regimented routine. That sense of structure is a big factor when it comes to my motivation. Which makes for a happy and calm Soph! I was doing my yoga classes, planning blog posts and scheduling meetings. Now these things aren’t happening as frequently, I feel I need to implement a new routine starting ASAP. I’m determined to make time for my hobbies, self care and to do lists.
My Personal Planner... and the good bit!
I ordered a 2021 planner from Personal Planner which I designed from scratch. From the cover to the inside pages, it’s all created to accommodate my needs and goals. I added a 2021 year spread, weekly motivational quotes and even a budget planner!
They’ve added some extra little bits, including the budget planner, colouring pages to monitor mood and even a “to watch” list. I’m all for making a list, the satisfaction when I tick something off is such a buzz.
The process of creating a planner with Personal Planner is so simple and such a fun process. This time I opted for a square planner as it fits snug on my desk, but there are several different size options to suit you.
