Pixi Rose Body Collection

I thought I'd seen it all from Pixi, conquering both the skincare and beauty world. But they've also added body care to their extensive empire and I'm here for it. 

Last week I received a package from them, containing the Rose Bodytreats collection, which you can take a peek at here. Snuggled inside a spring appropriate, pastel green and pink backpack, were a rose body cleanser, balm and polish. Everything I need to prep my tired, winter skin for spring. 

Pixi is a cruelty free brand and their body products are no exception. They've packed these babies with the same Rose flower and Rosehip oils as their cult rose skincare range, meaning they're just as nourishing. 

Refresh - Rose Body Cleanser 

You only need a coin sized amount, straight onto a body puff and then massage it into your body. My skin felt softened and not irritated in any way. The citrus oil is ultra refreshing in the morning and I find the lavender soothing. A little definitely goes a long way and the squeezy tube is very shower-friendly. 

Exfoliate - Rose Body Polish 

I j'adore every item from the package, but the body polish is absolutely the stand out product for me. Gentle enough to be used daily, the body polish gave the right amount of exfoliation for my sensitive skin. 

Pixi suggested leaving this on for 1 -2 minutes and it made such a difference. I washed my hair whilst I left this on my body and once I rinsed the polish away, skin felt soft and smoothe. The product doesn't drip or run, once you apply it to skin it stays until you rinse it. The lactic acid is the hero ingredient here! I will say I wish the nozzle was slightly bigger, because i want a good dollop of this for my body and the hole within the lid only allows for a thin amount of product to come out. 

Hydrate - Rose Body Balm 

Similar in texture to the Rose Flash Balm, this body balm is easily absorbed and is the final step to ensure your hydrated for the rest of the day. Whilst this definitely has a thick consistency, it's easily absorbed and doesn't leave a sticky residue. After applying this, the scent lingers for hours afterwards. 

This was such a lovely surprise to receive and definitely has injected some brightness into my lack-lustre lockdown routine.
