Happy Easter everyone!
I hope you’re all having a cracking weekend (get it?) and enjoying the spring sunshine, whilst binging all the chocolate eggs.
I wanted to share with you my kind of Easter Egg from Lookfantastic. This year they’ve released yet another treat for those of us who love a beauty bargain.
An aesthetically pleasing pastel, marble egg stuffed with 6 products worth over £220. I’d happily keep the egg on display forever, have you ever seen such a cute egg? It looks like it’s been laid by a unicorn or some kind of ethereal goose. Anyway, back to the products.
I’ve seen a few of these Easter beauty buys available from various outlets but this one really caught my attention. It costs £65 and the value of what you’re getting inside really is worth every penny. The Lookfantastic Beauty Egg appears to still be available on the website here at the time this post goes live, but I don’t think it’ll be around much longer.
What’s inside:
- Eve Lom Gel Balm Cleanser – 100ml – worth £45
I’ve previously tried this in a smaller size and I was hooked. The cleanser is so rich but not at all greasy and really helps break down makeup with just one cleanse.
- Colour Wow Kale Infused Dream Cocktail – 200ml – worth £23
I tried this yesterday, pre-blow dry and it left my hair feeling softer, with a lot more bounce than normal. Would absolutely repurchase.
- Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Oil – 15ml – worth £67
First of all, I really didn’t believe the 15ml cost the above amount but after looking online it seems that’s correct. I’ve used the marine cream several times but the oil hits differently. A real treat for the skin.
- Rodial Dragon’s Blood Eye Cream – 15ml – worth £64
I think I’ve possibly only tried one other Rodial product which was a cleanser. This really is a luxury eye cream that I’d probably never splash out on. The pump top applicator really makes this easy to use and it does everything you need an eye cream to do.
- Diego Dalla Palma The Lipstick 46 – worth £16.50
This is the only thing I was a little sceptical of, not because of the formula or packaging but because of the shade. It’s a muted pink and is definitely on the paler side of what I normally wear. I lined lips with CT pillow talk then applied this. I’ve worn it on several Instagram stories over this weekend and I’m pleasantly surprised with how it looks. It wears incredibly well too.
- Kerastase Ciment Thermique – 20ml – worth £4.80
This is the smallest of all the products but a hero none the less. I use Kerastase blonde selection normally on my hair including their shampoo, conditioner, hair mask and styling products. A great little heat styling cream which is an ideal travel size. This felt like a bit of a filler product in comparison to the other items in the egg and their value.
Have you tried any of these products or will you be heading to Lookfantastic to grab an egg?
